For just £5, yes a fiver, you can do as many touch and goes as you like in a special GA only deal at Southend.
The deal was announced on Twitter (see below) by Southend ATC who said, “We are excited to launch a November #GA deal here at #Southend today until the end of November. We are offering circuit training at Southend for as little as a fiver! Please read the terms and conditions listed and information on below thread…
“The offer is applicable to aircraft with MTOW of 1.4T and below. PPR is required via Southend ATC and bookings can only be made a maximum of 24 hours in advance. 5 or more touch and go’s must be completed to qualify for the deal. Landing for parking will entail further fees.”

Southend thought they were going to be the next Gatwick !!, didn’t want to get involved with GA, now they have nothing they try to repair the damage with a £5.00 offer, well i hope the take up is minimum, i for one would not go on principal.
