Meet the CAA

No, really. The CAA wants to meet you in a ‘one-day conference’ taking place at the Royal Society of Arts in London on November 21. Anyone involved in GA is welcome to apply to attend.

The day revolves around the Strategic and Regulatory Reviews of GA which were published in July this year. There will be speakers from the CAA, Government and the GA communitty, and the proposed subjects include:

– Findings from the Strategic and Regulatory Reviews – taking the recommendations forward
– EASA and the proposed extension to its remit including plans for a European Recreational Pilot Licence
– Proposals to reduce the requirements for licensed aerodromes
– The airspace change process
– Mode S

Attendance at the day is limited to the 150 applicants, but it’s free and, according to the <a href=’http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?categoryid=224&pagetype=90&pageid=6990′ target=’_blank’>website</a>, “refreshments, including a buffet lunch, will be provided.”

Registration opens at 9am and the conference will conclude at 4.45pm.
