GPS anomaly reporting website

The CAA, in conjuction with Helios, has launched a new website to help private pilots report any problems they experience with GPS.

Called nano (‘navigation anomalies’), the site will allow you to enter details of a range of issues, including loss of guidance, position errors, database errors, satellite outages and human factors occurences. These reportswill then be displayed, so that other pilots can read them and comment on them. If appropriate, Helios will investigate.

PIlots can make reports anonymously or include their name on the simple form which you’ll find on the website.

Go to nano.aero to find out more.
