FLYER Live: An Unmissable Virtual Show

FLYER LIve 2021

AERO Friedrichshafen pushed back, no AeroExpo, doubts over international travel… where can we go to see the latest aircraft, avionics and suppliers this Spring? FLYER Live is where.

Yes, this April, FLYER will stage a virtual show, FLYER Live, where we’ll have a week-long festival of aviation full of live and recorded video, events, webinars and much more.

No, it isn’t as good as flying into a busy show with real metal (and wood and composite) aircraft to touch and examine… but it’s the next best thing. Think positive, no dodgy burgers and portacabin loos to deal with, and no worries about variable weather. You can see and hear the latest in General Aviation from the comfort of your home.

So, how’s it going to work?

FLYER is putting together a schedule of live broadcasts similar to our weekly Livestream shows (every Thursday at 7.30pm in case you’ve missed it) but with some recorded video as well. We’ll be talking to aircraft OEMs, avionics makers, software guys, engine and propeller people, airfields and flight training schools… everything that makes GA such a vibrant and exciting place to be.

Online admission to FLYER Live will be free and no need to register. You can drop in at any time, and much of the content will be available on catch-up afterwards, just in case you missed it first time around.

Plus, there’ll be exclusive content for FLYER Club members too. Not a member? Join here

We’ve history here, by the way. Not only did we run FLYER Live as a physical event but we’ve also recently successfully staged a virtual version of Pilot Careers Live. You can catch up with the content from that event here.

GA businesses: Get involved

If you’re a business in General Aviation and would like to get involved, there are lots of opportunities to be part of FLYER Live with exhibitor packages starting from very reasonable prices. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team.

There’s more!

At the same time as FLYER Live, we’ll be running Learn To Fly Week and publishing our annual Learn To Fly Guide.  Learn To Fly Week will promote the idea of flying as a recreational activity – and also as a career. Yes, professional aviation is still happening and will bounce back once the pandemic is under control.

Learn To Fly Week will be aimed at want-to-be pilots and also existing pilots, particularly those who have let their rating lapse and need to revalidate. It’s easier than you think! We’ll also have great ideas for expanding your flying, from aerobatics and/or Upset Recovery training to planning long-distance Flying Adventures.

When

FLYER Live and Learn To Fly Week is 12-16 April 2021.  Sign up here and you’ll be among the first to hear all the FLYER Live news.
