75% off Tiger Moth PPL with de Havilland scholarship

Aged 18 years to 30 years of age, a UK resident, and never previously won a flying bursary?

Then the 5th Annual Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers scholarship, in memory of Sir Geoffrey de Havilland, could see 75% of the cost of the standard hours training required for a Private Pilots Licence paid for, while you learn to fly on the vintage de Havilland DH82A Tiger Moths of the Cambridge Flying Group at Cambridge Airport.

The scholarship invites applications from young people and aims to make a significant difference to the applicant’s opportunity to learn to fly. No previous flying experience is required although evidence of a keen interest in aviation is a necessity.

Closing date is 1 July 2018, and shortlisted candidates can expect to be interviewed on 4 August 2018.

To apply, contact Howard Cook at the Cambridge Flying Group.
