Two weekend accidents

Two accidents have been reported in the national (online) press over the weekend.

On Saturday in the Scillies an aircraft (apparently a PA-32 Saratoga) suffered what local police described as a ‘ground collision’ near the airport at St Mary’s. One person was flown to Truro in the air ambulance with a broken collar bone; the three other occupants were said to be ‘walking wounded’. Later on Saturday a Beech 200 suffered problems deploying its landing gear. The pilot had alerted ATC. When he landed the nose gear collapsed, but the aircraft remained on the runway and all seven on board were uninjured.
