Rougham Airfield in Suffolk will be staging a weekend-long fly-in at the end of May. There will be a hog roast both days and other refreshments served in the old radar building adjacent to the WW2 restored control tower which will also be open to visitors.
Classic cars have been invited to attend and marshalling of aircraft arrivals will be handled by the North Weald team of marshalls.
Visiting aircraft pilots registering at control will be given a raffle ticket and the prize each day is cash to the equivalent of 50 gallons of fuel at the day’s pump prices. Fuel will be available on the day.
