COVID-19 restrictions have forced the organisers of the Private Flyer event at Wycombe Park to reschedule for next year – 14-15 May 2021. The good news is that it will be bigger than previous events.
Alex Ayling, of Private Flyer UK, said, “With ongoing uncertainty about COVID-19, it had become clear that our venue partner (Wycombe Air Park) had become unsure on the viability of allowing us to stage the event this October. A decision we obviously respect and understand.
“We were building towards a fantastic show, with more than 320+ aircraft booked to fly in over the two days and with ticket sales increasing week by week. It was clear to us there was an appetite for a General Aviation show this year.
“The new dates gives us more time to market the event and develop increased visitor numbers. The General Aviation industry has by and large welcomed our initiative and we have appreciated everybody’s support during this most challenging of all years.
“We will now turn our focus immediately to staging our largest-ever event in May 2021 and providing a fantastic event for all involved.”
Ticket sales will automatically be transferred over to the new dates of 14-15 May 2021, though ticket refunds are available upon request: click here.
Just to be clear, Private Flyer is not a FLYER magazine event.
