Everyone is welcome to join us in Wales for Parafest weekend. Whether you have an interest in aviation or not you can still come and enjoy the festival and party with the rest of us.
Aside from the flying and tandem flights, two days of quality live music, trade displays and demos there are plenty of non-flying trade stands, a kids area, a late night area, sideshows and attractions, too much to list and all right next to the beach.
Let’s also not forget you will be in Wales, a beautiful part of the world that can be explored beyond what Parafest has to offer.
Pilots of microlights, light aircraft and anything else that flies have use of the massive mile-long tarmac runway and are welcome to fly in for the weekend. Fly in, park up, camp up, browse the trade stands, have a beer, relax and enjoy the festival.
You will need to purchase a Parafest weekend ticket in advance from this website to gain admission to the festival.
Llanbedr is PPR only, if you intend to fly in for Parafest, please email email@example.com for full details and airfield information. You must have airband radio and be able to talk to Llanbedr Air Traffic Control. Failure to gain PPR and warn us of your intended arrival is just bad manners at best and dangerous at worst. If we know to expect you, the runway and surrounding airspace will be kept clear and all launches temporally frozen for your arrival.
