Netherthorpe Airfield, near Worksop in Nottinghamshire, is currently offering free landings to pilots. The airfield says that this is for a trial period only, but that the trial could well last at least to the end of the year.
The aim, says the Sheffield Aero Club which operates the airfield, is to encourage people to visit. Netherthorpe offers both fuel and food.
The airfield is PPR.
