Liberty gets life extension

8 February 2007

Liberty Aerospace, manufacturer of the Liberty XL2, has received FAA approval which extends the fatigue certification of the airframe to 5,000 flight hours.

Coupon testing of the fuselage is planned which will allow the limit to be extended to 10,000 hours.
