Popular Science Magazine has named the HondaJet among its 100 top innovations of the year. The list also includes the Diamond D-Jet.
Among the elements of the HondaJet design which the magazine praises is the decision to put the engines above the wings, saving space and adding to the performance.
Among the others named in the Aviation & Space category are a couple of UAVs, some advanced military hardware and a couple of satellites.
The results are posted in the December issue of the magazine, and are on the website now. There’s also an interview with Eclipse Aviation founder Vern Raburn.
