Hello Blackpool... oops! Sorry Warton

VIDEO Warton Aerodrome is very close to Blackpool Airport and there have been a number of cases where an aircraft has tried to land at Warton thinking, mistakenly, it was at Blackpool. On one occasion, an aircraft landed without permission.

Sean Donno works for BAE Systems at Warton and is a pilot who flies with the BAe (Warton) Flying Club based at Blackpool. He has produced a video showing the main differences between Blackpool and Warton, to help pilots flying in.
