Fly in to AERO Friedrichshafen

The biggest and most important General Aviation show in Europe is AERO Friedrichshafen, in south Germany close to Lake Constance (Bodensee). The show is held in a purpose-build exhibition centre adjacent to Friedrichshafen Airport and pilots can fly in to the show, VFR and IFR.

The online PPR system will open to book a slot from 0900 (local time) on 7 April 2018. PPR slots can be reserved for for a fee of 35 euro, which will be counted towards payment of the package deal which includes landing fees, parking fees and a shuttle to the entrance of the AERO.

Pilots who approach the airport between 0600 and 1920 (local time) without reserving a slot can expect to be refused permission to land. If they are given permission to land, they will have to pay an additional post-slot fee of 50 euro at the entrance to the AERO; this amount cannot be counted towards the cost of the AERO package deal mentioned above.

Pilots arriving at Friedrichshafen between 1920 and 2200 local time using visual flight rules (VFR) do not need to reserve a slot. Helicopter arriving VFR, should follow the published procedures and do not need to reserve a PPR time in advance.
