Fairford TRA

As you might expect the Fairford MATZ could be a little busy over the coming
days. The MATZ has been activated (by Notam) for a while now, and while it
makes very good sense to talk to Brize for a MATZ transit it wasn’t strictly
speaking necessary.

Today (Tuesday) a further Notam has been issued under Article 85 of the ANO making the MATZ a TRA (Temporary Restricted Airspace). The only way through what was the Fairford MATZ (which is also the gap between Lyneham and Brize) is now with an ATC clearance.

NAVW: A)EGVA FROM 03/03/18 11:07 TO 03/06/30 17:00 EST J0101/03
E)MIL REF (AUS) 03-03-0294
