The Yeoman Light Aircraft Company, UK distributor of the Dynamic microlight, has been awarded A1 Company Approval by the CAA. This will allow it to manufacture and design microlights, and to subcontract aircraft manufacture.
The company says that it is now awaiting CAA approval of the Dynamic, which is expected in the next couple of weeks.
The Dynamic is a two-seat, low-wing microlight powered by the Rotax 912. Its claimed cruising speed is 119kt.
Over 100 examples have already flown worldwide; Yeoman says that has already sold 12 airframes, and expects the next ‘tranche’ of 12 to sell out within days of becoming available. The list price is £58,450.
