It’s been spoken about in whispered tones for a while, but finally we have official news from Cirrus about their SR22 G2.
The SR22, of which more were sold last year than any other piston single, has been further refined by the launch of the G2.
We’re told that the aeroplane features car style slam-shut doors, a higher quality perforated leather interior, a six point engine mount as standard, and the three blade optimised ‘Scimitar Select’ propeller from Hartzell. Other changes include a two-piece cowl, and other airframe modifications that will aid maintenance access.
