Win a Spitfire flight

Stuck for a Christmas present for another pilot? How about a chance to win a flight in a Spitfire? Not only that but the prize also includes an overnight stay with dinner for two at Goodwood Hotel.

The British Aerobatic Association (BAeA) is offering a 50-minute flight experience in a two-seat Spitfire provided by Boultbee Flight Academy together with Goodwood Hotel overnight stay and dinner as the prize, valued at £4,000+, in the first of its newly registered lottery draws.

Tickets cost £20 each and participants will have a 1 in 1000 chance of winning. Proceeds from the lottery will go towards the British Aerobatics team (power and glider) training and support fund in preparation for European and World Championships. A donation will also be made to the registered charity Aerobility.

“This is a great fundraising initiative which invites everyone to be a part of helping our talented British pilots continue competing for individual and team medals at aerobatic championships around the world,” said Steve Todd, chairman, BAeA. “Here is your chance to help us provide that little bit of extra support needed to take on the best and bring back a medal.”
