Cabair acquires Wycombe Air Centre

The Cabair Group of Aviation Companies has acquired Wycombe Air Centre, which is one of the leading independent UK flying schools.

Wycombe Air Centre, which is based at Wycombe Air Park (also known as Booker, near Marlow in Buckinghamshire), currently operates a dozen aircraft, including 10 Cessnas; it is also a leading authorised dealer for Cessna aircraft.

Cabair is the largest flight training group in Europe. It has bases at seven airfields in the UK, and affiliated centres in Spain, Canada and America.

“We have known Cabair for many years,” says Wycombe Air Centre’s Managing Director, Shari Peyami. “And are looking forward to working with them to develop our operations here at Wycombe – particularly commercial pilot training.”

He also told FLYER: “Both the Cessna Service Centre approval and ‘CSTAR’ Cessna Sales Team Authorised Representative will remain with Wycombe Air Centre. ”

Wycombe Air Centre is one of two major flight training organisations on the airfield: the other is British Airways Flying Club.
