Biggin's 2018 Festival of Flight tickets on sale

Biggin Hill 2018 Festival of Flight airshow

Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Festival of Flight at London Biggin Hill Airport. The event is over the weekend of 18-19 August.

As the centenary year of the Royal Air Force, 2018’s Festival of Flight is expected to surpass previous years’ with its exhibition of wartime aircraft. Visitors will experience the full might of the RAF’s historic fleet as Spitfire and Hurricane fighters take to the skies, alongside the Avro Lancaster bomber of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Colin Hitchins, Festival of Flight director, London Biggin Hill Airport, said, “The 100th year of the RAF finds its spiritual home at Biggin Hill, which was Britain’s most famous RAF fighter station during the Second World War. This year’s festival will reflect this alliance, with both classic and modern aircraft on show.

“Every year, the Festival of Flight is dubbed a must-attend event for the summer, and 2018’s lineup has been hotly anticipated given the significance of this commemorative year. We look forward to welcoming more visitors to the airport than ever before this summer.”

Early bird tickets are available at a discounted price until 5 August. Tickets must be purchased online and booked in advance. Free entry for children under 16 when accompanied by an adult.
