Phonetic Alphabet and Morse Code Last modified: 25 August 2005 |
Get used to the phonetic alphabet; it's an essential part of clear and unambiguous communication between aircraft and Air Traffic Control [ATC], and aircraft to aircraft.
Practice by testing yourself with car number plates or spelling friend's names. Practise until you can both speak and understand it fluently.
