It is entirely up to you, however please remember that you will be meeting prospective employers and flight training establishments and associations. We therefore suggest smart casual as you do want to make a good impression. Suits aren't necessary but we do advise against shorts and t-shirts.

What should I achieve from visiting the show?

You should leave with a clearer picture of costs, types of training available, criteria for selection on courses, different types flying with the airlines and an indicator of the current job situation. You will also gain a clearer understanding of what it is like to be an commercial pilot.

We advise you to come prepared with a list of questions that you specifically want or need answered. It is always best to research and prioritise the exhibitors you would like to visit.

It is not necessary to bring your CV with you, however we do advise that you use the exhibition to obtain contact details of the person(s) you should address it to when you are ready to send it. Come prepared with a notebook and pen to make any necessary notes, including important contact details and information.

Will I have the opportunity to speak directly to the airline representatives and do I have to make an appointment to see them?

We have representatives from various airlines in both Pilot Advice Zones and they are there to speak to you and answer your questions directly. You do not need to make any appointments, however please be aware that these areas will no doubt be busy so a one-to-one may not be possible.

Will there be any jobs being offered?

Although there will be no direct job offers you will be able to discuss future recruitment plans and opportunities directly with the airlines and of course, the training providers who will be exhibiting will have their own links to various airlines.
